The inaugural International Symposium on Official Statistics at Renmin University of China will be held in Beijing from September 24 to 25, 2025. The symposium invites scholars and experts from the International Statistical Institute, the International Association for Official Statistics, the United Nations Statistics Division, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, Eurostat, the African Union Statistics Office, the Chinese Statistical Association, and the National Bureau of Statistics of China to discuss the theme “Modernizing Official Statistics: Data-Driven Better Lives.” The symposium will feature keynote lectures, invited presentations, and roundtable forums.
